In Friday's non-league game, the Many Tigers (Many, LA) football team knocked off the visiting Newman Greenies (New Orleans, LA), by a final score of 25-17.

The Tigers (4-0) will now prepare for their game against Mansfield (Mansfield, LA). The Wolverines come into the 2A District 3 game with a 0-5 record.

The Greenies now hold a 3-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to Pearl River for a non-league game on Friday, September 30. Newman will battle a Rebels team coming off a 46-14 non-league win over Independence (Independence, LA). The Rebels record now stands at 3-1.
