In Friday's non-league match, the host Nation Ford Falcons football squad scored a good 33-20 victory over the Richland Northeast Cavaliers.

In their next game, the Falcons clash with the Clover Blue Eagles (Clover, SC) in a AAAAA Region 3 match, on Friday, September 30. Nation Ford will attempt to move on its 1-4 season record. The Blue Eagles enter the match with a 2-3 record after their 26-0 non-league win over Boiling Springs (Spartanburg, SC).

The Cavaliers (1-4) will now prepare for their match against Irmo (Columbia, SC). The Yellowjackets enter the AAAA Region 5 match with a 4-1 record. In their last match, Irmo ran past Airport (West Columbia, SC), 37-0, in a non-league match.
