The Taft Raiders (San Antonio, TX) football defeated the host O'Connor Panthers (Helotes, TX), 24-6 in Friday's league bout.

In their next game, the Raiders face the Warren Warriors (San Antonio, TX) in a 6A Region IV District 29 bout, on Friday, September 30. Taft will attempt to move on its 3-1 season record. The Warriors enter the bout with a 4-1 record after their 59-52 league loss to Harlan (San Antonio, TX).
