September 23, 2022: Leesburg, AL 35983 West End Patriots (Walnut Grove, AL) fans left the game content Friday as they saw their football team gain a win over the host Sand Rock Wildcats (Leesburg, AL), 44-21 in a non-league test.
With the triumph, West End improves its record to 5-1 on the campaign. The Patriots host Holly Pond (Holly Pond, AL) to confront the Broncos in a 2A Region 6 test on Friday, October 7. The Broncos come into the test with a record of 0-6.
With the loss, Sand Rock drops to 2-4 on the campaign. The Wildcats host North Sand Mountain (Higdon, AL) to confront the Bison in a 2A Region 7 test on Friday, September 30. The Bison come into the test with a record of 2-3. North Sand Mountain won 54-28 in their recent league test against Whitesburg Christian Academy (Huntsville, AL)
