Maine High School Soccer - Greely knocks off Sacopee Valley
September 23, 2022: Cumberland Center, ME 04021 Greely Rangers (Cumberland Center, ME) supporters were pleased Friday as they observed their soccer team triumph over the visiting Sacopee Valley Hawks (Cornish, ME), 6-1 in a non-league challenge.
Next, the Rangers confront the Wells Warriors (Wells, ME) in a Class B - South challenge, on Tuesday, September 27. Greely will attempt to move on its 5-3 season record. The Warriors enter the challenge with a 5-1 record after their 3-1 non-league win over Traip (Kittery, ME).
The Hawks now possess a 0-6 record. They take the field next when they host Fryeburg for a non-league challenge on Tuesday, September 27. Sacopee Valley will confront a Raiders team coming off a 4-0 league loss to Yarmouth (Yarmouth, ME). The Raiders record now stands at 0-5.
