September 23, 2023: Worcester, MA 01602 The Groton-Dunstable Crusaders football team (Groton, MA), was ripped 41-6 in Saturday's non-league challenge with the host Doherty Memorial Highlanders (Worcester, MA)
The Highlanders (3-0) will now prepare for their challenge against Tantasqua Regional (Fiskdale, MA). The Warriors come into the non-league challenge with a 2-1 record. In their last challenge, Tantasqua Regional trounced East Longmeadow (East Longmeadow, MA), 35-14, in a non-league challenge.
The Crusaders now sport a 0-3 record. They take the field next when they travel to North Middlesex Regional for a Midland Wachusett - C challenge on Friday, September 29. Groton-Dunstable will meet a Patriots team coming off a 35-8 non-league win over Nauset Regional (North Eastham, MA). The Patriots record now stands at 3-0.
