September 23, 2023: Muskegon, MI 49445 East Grand Rapids Pioneers (Grand Rapids, MI) fans were thrilled Saturday as they observed their soccer team hold off the host Reeths-Puffer Rockets (Muskegon, MI), 3-2 in a non-league challenge.
Next, the Pioneers face the Rockford Rams (Rockford, MI) in a non-league challenge, on Thursday, September 28. East Grand Rapids will attempt to better on its 9-3 season record.
The Rockets now have a 2-5 record. They take the field next when they host Jenison for a non-league challenge on Tuesday, September 26. Reeths-Puffer will face a Wildcats team coming off a 1-0 non-league loss to Christian (Grand Rapids, MI). The Wildcats record now stands at 5-6.
