September 23, 2023: Georgetown, KY Lafayette Generals (Lexington, KY) fans were thrilled Saturday as they observed their soccer team hold off the host Great Crossing (Georgetown, KY), 1-0 in a non-league challenge.
Next, the Generals confront the Henry Clay Blue Devils (Lexington, KY) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, September 26. Lafayette will attempt to better on its 11-3 season record. The Blue Devils enter the challenge with a 10-3 record after their 3-2 non-league loss to St. Patrick (Chicago, IL).
The now have a 13-3 record. They take the field next when they host Woodford County for a non-league challenge on Tuesday, September 26. Great Crossing will confront a Yellowjackets team coming off a 2-0 non-league win over Franklin County (Frankfort, KY). The Yellowjackets record now stands at 12-3.
