Marian Crusaders (Omaha, NE) backers exited the stadium thrilled Saturday as they saw their softball squad nip the host Kearney Bearcats (Kearney, NE), 10-4 in a non-league challenge.
The Crusaders now own a 12-11 record. They take the field next when they travel to Millard North for a A District challenge on Tuesday, September 26. Marian will battle a Mustangs squad coming off a 13-0 non-league win over Gretna East (Gretna, NE). The Mustangs record now stands at 18-4.
