September 23, 2023: Fort Lauderdale, FL 33330 The Riviera Prep Bulldogs held off the host Archbishop McCarthy Mavericks volleyball team by a score of 2-1 in Saturday's non-league test.
The Bulldogs now have a 7-6 record. They play next when they travel to Royal Palm Beach for a non-league contest on Friday, September 29. Riviera Prep will battle a Wildcats squad coming off a 3-2 non-league win over Dreyfoos School of the Arts (West Palm Beach, FL). The Wildcats record now stands at 11-2.
With the loss, Archbishop McCarthy moves to 7-9 on the year. The Mavericks host St. Thomas Aquinas (Fort Lauderdale, FL) to battle the Raiders in a non-league contest on Thursday, September 28. The Raiders go into the contest with a record of 14-2. St. Thomas Aquinas won 3-0 in their recent non-league contest against Coral Springs Charter (Coral Springs, FL)
