September 23, 2023: Waterloo, IA 50703 Belle Plaine Plainsmen (Belle Plaine, IA) supporters left the game in high spirits Saturday as they observed their volleyball squad top the host Waterloo East Trojans (Waterloo, IA), 2-0 in a non-league match.
Next up, the Plainsmen clash with the Perry Bluejays (Perry, IA) in a non-league match, on Saturday, September 23. Belle Plaine will attempt to advance on its 13-7 season record. The Bluejays come into the match with a 5-13 record after their 3-2 league loss to South Hamilton (Jewell, IA).
With the loss, Waterloo East drops to 5-16 on the campaign. The Trojans host Ottumwa (Ottumwa, IA) to clash with the Bulldogs in a non-league match on Tuesday, September 26.
