September 23, 2023: Heflin, AL 36264 The Cleburne County Tigers volleyball team scored 2 points and limited the visiting Victory Christian Lions to 0 in the Tigers non-league victory on Saturday.
The Tigers now possess a 5-15 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Faith Christian for a non-league game on Monday, September 25. Cleburne County will meet a Lions team coming off a 2-0 non-league loss to Hazel Green (Hazel Green, AL). The Lions record now stands at 20-15.
The Lions (2-6) will now prepare for their game against Appalachian (Oneonta, AL). The Eagles enter the 1A Area 10 game with a 8-6 record. In their last game, Appalachian defeated Cleveland (Cleveland, AL), 2-0, in a non-league game.
