September 23, 2023: Eugene, OR 97402 Cleveland Warriors (Portland, OR) backers left the game in high spirits Saturday as they observed their volleyball squad top the host Willamette Wolverines (Eugene, OR), 2-0 in a non-league match.
Next up, the Warriors battle the Wells Guardians (Portland, OR) in a 6A Portland Interscholastic match, on Tuesday, September 26. Cleveland will attempt to better on its 5-8 season record. The Guardians come into the match with a 7-3 record after their 3-1 league win over McDaniel (Portland, OR).
With the loss, Willamette moves to 0-9 on the year. The Wolverines host South Eugene (Eugene, OR) to face the Axe in a 6A Southwest outing on Tuesday, September 26. The Axe go into the outing with a record of 5-8. South Eugene lost 3-0 in their recent league outing against Roseburg (Roseburg, OR)
