With the win, Corner betters its record to 28-4 on the year. The Yellow Jackets travel to Oak Grove (Bessemer, AL) to face the Tigers in a 4A Area 9 outing on Tuesday, September 26. The Tigers go into the outing with a record of 2-13.
The Warriors now sport a 3-10 record. They play next when they travel to Lindsay Lane Christian Academy for a 2A Area 14 outing on Tuesday, September 26. Whitesburg Christian Academy will face a Lions squad coming off a 2-0 non-league win over Waterloo (Waterloo, AL). The Lions record now stands at 14-18.
