Iowa High School Volleyball - Davenport Central Independence
September 23, 2023: Davenport, IA 52803 The Independence Mustangs topped the host Davenport Central Blue Devils volleyball team by a score of 2-0 in Saturday's non-league test.
The Mustangs now have a 11-12 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to East Dubuque for a non-league test on Saturday, September 23. Independence will confront a Warriors team coming off a 2-0 league win over Stockton (Stockton, IL). The Warriors record now stands at 6-8.
The Blue Devils (5-11) will now prepare for their test against Iowa City (Iowa City, IA). The Little Hawks enter the non-league test with a 12-11 record. In their last test, Iowa City was knocked off by Dubuque Senior (Dubuque, IA), 3-2, in a league test.
