September 23, 2023: Osage, IA 50461 The crowd at Saturday's non-league bout between the Dowling Catholic Maroons (West Des Moines, IA) and the host Osage Green Devils (Osage, IA), saw Dowling Catholic's volleyball squad beat Osage by a tally of 2-0.
With the win, Dowling Catholic upgrades its record to 14-3 on the year. The Maroons travel to Grundy Center (Grundy Center, IA) to play the Spartans in a non-league bout on Saturday, September 23. The Spartans go into the bout with a record of 24-2.
The Green Devils now own a 13-12 record. They play next when they travel to Urbandale for a non-league bout on Saturday, September 23. Osage will play a J-Hawks squad coming off a 3-0 non-league loss to Valley (Elgin, IA). The J-Hawks record now stands at 5-8.
