September 23, 2023: Eddyville, OR 97343 Western Christian Pioneers (Salem, OR) supporters left the game in high spirits Saturday as they observed their volleyball squad top the host Eddyville Eagles (Eddyville, OR), 2-0 in a non-league match.
Next up, the Pioneers battle the Knappa Loggers (Astoria, OR) in a non-league match, on Saturday, September 23. Western Christian will attempt to advance on its 14-1 season record. The Loggers come into the match with a 4-6 record after their 3-0 league win over Faith Bible Christian (Aloha, OR).
With the loss, Eddyville drops to 7-2 on the campaign. The Eagles travel to Mapleton (Mapleton, OR) to battle the Sailors in a 1A Mountain West match on Monday, September 25. The Sailors come into the match with a record of 4-9. Mapleton won 3-0 in their recent league match against Mannahouse Christian Academy (Eugene, OR)
