September 23, 2023: Phillips, WI 54555 The crowd at Saturday's non-league bout between the Phillips Loggers (Phillips, WI) and the visiting Elcho Hornets (Elcho, WI), saw Phillips's volleyball squad beat Elcho by a tally of 2-0.
With the win, Phillips upgrades its record to 22-3 on the year. The Loggers host Lakeland (Minocqua, WI) to play the Thunderbirds in a non-league bout on Saturday, September 23. The Thunderbirds go into the bout with a record of 7-7. Lakeland won 3-1 in their recent league bout against Antigo (Antigo, WI)
The Hornets now own a 3-12 record. They play next when they host Phelps for a Northern Lakes bout on Tuesday, September 26.
