Illinois High School Volleyball - Lake Forest edged by Hersey
September 23, 2023: Arlington Heights, IL 60004 The Hersey Huskies held off the visiting Lake Forest Scouts volleyball team by a score of 2-1 in Saturday's non-league test.
The Huskies now have a 12-4 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Evanston for a non-league test on Sunday, September 24. Hersey will confront a Wildkits team coming off a 2-0 non-league loss to Naperville North (Naperville, IL). The Wildkits record now stands at 2-18.
The Scouts (5-16) will now prepare for their test against Antioch (Antioch, IL). The Sequoits enter the non-league test with a 8-8 record. In their last test, Antioch was nudged by Grayslake Central (Grayslake, IL), 2-0, in a league test.
