September 23, 2023: Winterset, IA 50273 The Winterset Huskies volleyball team scored 2 points and limited the visiting Iowa Falls-Alden Cadets to 0 in the Huskies non-league victory on Saturday.
The Huskies now possess a 6-15 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Harlan for a non-league game on Saturday, September 23. Winterset will meet a Cyclones team coming off a 3-0 league loss to Red Oak (Red Oak, IA). The Cyclones record now stands at 5-12.
The Cadets (7-17) will now prepare for their game against Lake Mills (Lake Mills, IA). The Bulldogs enter the non-league game with a 17-4 record. In their last game, Lake Mills defeated North Union (Armstrong, IA), 3-0, in a league game.
