September 23, 2023: Lithia Springs, GA 30122 The crowd at Saturday's non-league bout between the Sprayberry Yellow Jackets (Marietta, GA) and the host Lithia Springs Lions (Lithia Springs, GA), saw Sprayberry's volleyball squad beat Lithia Springs by a tally of 2-0.
With the win, Sprayberry upgrades its record to 15-14 on the year. The Yellow Jackets travel to Galloway (Atlanta, GA) to play the Scots in a non-league bout on Saturday, September 23. The Scots go into the bout with a record of 7-12.
The Lions now own a 7-11 record. They play next when they travel to Banneker for a 5A Area 5 bout on Tuesday, September 26. Lithia Springs will play a Trojans squad coming off a 2-0 league loss to Tri-Cities (East Point, GA). The Trojans record now stands at 6-14.
