September 23, 2023: Coos Bay, OR 97420 The Marshfield Pirates (Coos Bay, OR) volleyball overcame the visiting Thurston Colts (Springfield, OR), 3-0 in Saturday's non-league outing.
With the win, Marshfield upgrades its record to 15-2 on the year. The Pirates host Cascade (Turner, OR) to play the Cougars in a non-league test on Saturday, September 23. The Cougars enter the test with a record of 8-4. Cascade won 3-0 in their recent league test against Sweet Home (Sweet Home, OR)
The Colts (10-4) will now prepare for their test against North Eugene (Eugene, OR). The Highlanders enter the 5A Midwestern test with a 4-10 record. In their last test, North Eugene gained a win over Ashland (Ashland, OR), 3-1, in a league test.
