Tennessee High School Soccer - Dyersburg knocks off Dyer County
September 23, 2024: Newbern, TN 38059 The Dyersburg Trojans soccer squad scored 8 points and held the host Dyer County Choctaws to 0 in the Trojans league victory on Monday.
The Trojans now possess a 3-7 record. They play next when they travel to Crockett County for a AA District 13 bout on Thursday, September 26. Dyersburg will play a Cavaliers squad coming off a 7-0 league loss to South Gibson (Medina, TN). The Cavaliers record now stands at 7-2.
With the loss, Dyer County moves to 4-7 on the year. The Choctaws travel to South Fulton (South Fulton, TN) to play the Red Devils in a non-league bout on Tuesday, September 24. The Red Devils go into the bout with a record of 0-8. South Fulton lost 11-0 in their recent league bout against Westview (Martin, TN)
