New York High School Football - Clarkstown North thwarted by Rye
September 23, 2024: New City, NY 10956 Rye Garnets (Rye, NY) fans went home in high spirits Monday as they saw their football team achieve victory over the host Clarkstown North Rams (New City, NY), 21-6 in a non-league battle.
With the win, Rye improves its record to 2-1 on the season. The Garnets host Nyack (Upper Nyack, NY) to play the Red Hawks in a non-league battle on Saturday, September 28. The Red Hawks go into the battle with a record of 1-1. Nyack won 14-6 in their recent non-league battle against Harrison (Harrison, NY)
The Rams now have a 0-1 record. They play next when they travel to DeMatha for a non-league battle on Wednesday, September 25. Clarkstown North will play a Stags team coming off a 21-7 non-league win over Calvert Hall (Baltimore, MD). The Stags record now stands at 2-0.
