September 23, 2024: Newport News, VA 23602 Warwick Raiders (Newport News, VA) fans went home in high spirits Monday as they saw their football team achieve victory over the host Menchville Monarchs (Newport News, VA), 22-0 in a non-league battle.
With the win, Warwick improves its record to 3-0 on the season. The Raiders host Gloucester (Gloucester, VA) to play the Dukes in a non-league battle on Monday, September 30. The Dukes go into the battle with a record of 2-1. Gloucester won 2-0 in their recent non-league battle against Denbigh (Newport News, VA)
The Monarchs now have a 0-2 record. They play next when they travel to Kecoughtan for a non-league battle on Monday, September 30. Menchville will play a Warriors team coming off a 36-6 non-league loss to Hampton (Hampton, VA). The Warriors record now stands at 0-3.
