North Carolina High School Volleyball - Watauga over Freedom
September 23, 2024: Boone, NC 28607 Fans at Monday's non-league contest between the Watauga Pioneers (Boone, NC) and the visiting Freedom Patriots (Morganton, NC), observed Watauga's volleyball team top Freedom by a count of 2-0.
The Pioneers (10-0) will now prepare for their contest against Ashe County (West Jefferson, NC). The Huskies enter the non-league contest with a 11-0 record. In their last contest, Ashe County notched a victory over South Caldwell (Hudson, NC), 2-1, in a non-league contest.
Next, the Patriots meet the Alexander Central Cougars (Taylorsville, NC) in a non-league contest, on Wednesday, September 25. Freedom will attempt to move on its 4-11 season record.
