Georgia High School Softball - Banks County bounces Flowery Branch
September 23, 2024: Flowery Branch, GA 30542 In Monday's non-league match, the visiting Banks County Leopards softball team scored a tight 6-1 win over the Flowery Branch Falcons.
The Leopards (23-3) will now prepare for their match against Oglethorpe County (Lexington, GA). The Patriots come into the 1A D-I Region 8 match with a 12-8 record. In their last match, Oglethorpe County was routed by Clarke Central (Athens, GA), 13-4, in a non-league match.
In their next game, the Falcons confront the Dacula Falcons (Dacula, GA) in a non-league match, on Wednesday, September 25. Flowery Branch will attempt to better on its 4-15 season record. The Falcons come into the match with a 14-8 record after their 11-0 league loss to Buford (Buford, GA).
