Fans at Monday's non-league contest between the St. Michael the Archangel Guardians (Lee's Summit, MO) and the visiting Platte County Pirates (Platte City, MO), observed St. Michael the Archangel's volleyball team top Platte County by a count of 3-1.

The Guardians (11-3) will now prepare for their contest against Odessa (Odessa, MO). The Bulldogs enter the non-league contest with a 14-5 record. In their last contest, Odessa notched a victory over Marshall (Marshall, MO), 3-0, in a non-league contest.
