September 23, 2024: Des Moines, IA 50313 Fans at Monday's non-league contest between the West Marshall Trojans (State Center, IA) and the host Saydel Eagles (Des Moines, IA), observed West Marshall's volleyball team top Saydel by a count of 3-0.
The Trojans (8-13) will now prepare for their contest against Carroll (Carroll, IA). The Tigers enter the non-league contest with a 12-8 record. In their last contest, Carroll was knocked off by North Polk (Alleman, IA), 3-1, in a non-league contest.
Next, the Eagles battle the Perry Bluejays (Perry, IA) in a contest, on Thursday, September 26. Saydel will attempt to move on its 2-11 season record. The Bluejays enter the contest with a 5-8 record after their 3-0 non-league loss to Roland-Story (Story City, IA).
