September 23, 2025: Lake Forest, IL 60045 In Tuesday's non-league challenge, the Cristo Rey St. Martin CRSM (Waukegan, IL) soccer squad nipped the host Lake Forest Academy Caxys (Lake Forest, IL), by a margin of 1-0.
The CRSM now hold a 2-3 record. They put it on the line next when they host Round Lake for a non-league contest on Wednesday, September 24. Cristo Rey St. Martin will battle a Panthers team coming off a 4-1 non-league win over Grayslake North (Grayslake, IL). The Panthers record now stands at 6-2.
The Caxys (1-3) will now prepare for their contest against Niles Notre Dame (Niles, IL). The Dons enter the non-league contest with a 6-3 record. In their last contest, Niles Notre Dame nudged Nazareth Academy (LaGrange Park, IL), 7-0, in a non-league challenge.
