Ohio High School Soccer - Salem toppled by Marlington
September 23, 2025: Salem, OH 44460 Marlington Dukes (Alliance, OH) boosters exited the stadium thrilled Tuesday as they witnessed their soccer team beat the host Salem Quakers (Salem, OH), 4-0 in a league test.
With the triumph, Marlington moves its record to 8-1 on the campaign. The Dukes host Ursuline (Youngstown, OH) to clash with the Fighting Irish in a non-league test on Thursday, September 25. The Fighting Irish come into the test with a record of 2-9. Ursuline lost 3-0 in their recent non-league outing against South Range (Canfield, OH)
Next up, the Quakers confront the Lakeview Bulldogs (Cortland, OH) in a non-league outing, on Saturday, September 27. Salem will attempt to improve on its 8-2 season record. The Bulldogs go into the outing with a 7-5 record after their 1-0 league loss to Hubbard (Hubbard, OH).
