The Seward Bluejays nipped the visiting Bishop Neumann Cavaliers softball team by a margin of 5-4 in Tuesday's non-league outing.

The Bluejays now sport a 8-11 record. They put it on the line next when they host Grand Island Central Catholic for a B District 8 outing on Thursday, September 25.

With the loss, Bishop Neumann drops to 15-4 on the campaign. The Cavaliers travel to Central City (Central City, NE) to meet the Bison in a non-league test on Thursday, September 25. The Bison go into the test with a record of 16-2. Central City won 13-1 in their recent non-league test against Southern Valley/Alma (Oxford, NE)
