The BlueJackets dominated three of four sets with strong serving -- 28 aces -- and efficient attacking, while fending off a resilient push from Gibbs in the second set.
Senior outside hitter Eloa Gebrin led all attackers with 12 kills on a blistering .333 hitting percentage, complemented by 3 blocks (including 2 solo) and 6 digs for a well-rounded performance. Sophomore middle Naomi McDowell added 10 kills and 3 blocks. Leila Bakken, a sophomore standout, orchestrated the offense with 18 assists and added 9 kills of her own, along with seven aces. Sophomore libero Rylie Costello anchored the defense with 16 digs and 22 serve receptions, preventing Gibbs from gaining traction.
