September 23, 2025: Chesaning, MI 48616 Fans at Tuesday's league contest between the Byron Eagles (Byron, MI) and the host Chesaning Indians (Chesaning, MI), observed Byron's volleyball squad notch a victory over Chesaning by a score of 3-0.
With the win, Byron improves its record to 14-2 on the season. The Eagles host Ovid-Elsie (Elsie, MI) to encounter the Marauders in a Mid-Michigan Athletic battle on Tuesday, September 30. The Marauders go into the battle with a record of 14-4. Ovid-Elsie won 2-1 in their recent non-league battle against Genesee Christian (Burton, MI)
The Indians now own a 4-5 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Lakeville for a Mid-Michigan Athletic contest on Tuesday, September 30. Chesaning will meet a Falcons team coming off a 3-0 league loss to Mt. Morris (Mt. Morris, MI). The Falcons record now stands at 4-7.
