In Tuesday's non-league bout, the East Lawrence Eagles (Trinity, AL) volleyball team held off the visiting Covenant Christian Eagles (Tuscumbia, AL), by a margin of 2-1.

The Eagles now possess a 13-12 record. They play next when they travel to Good Hope for a 4A Area 13 bout on Thursday, September 25. East Lawrence will clash with a Raiders team coming off a 2-0 non-league win over Vinemont (Vinemont, AL). The Raiders record now stands at 18-14.

With the loss, Covenant Christian drops to 11-13 on the campaign. The Eagles travel to Phil Campbell (Phil Campbell, AL) to clash with the Bobcats in a non-league bout on Tuesday, September 23.
