With the win, Kearney improves its record to 12-5 on the year. The Bulldogs host Smithville (Smithville, MO) to meet the Warriors in a Greater Kansas City Suburban Conference - Blue challenge on Thursday, September 25. The Warriors enter the challenge with a record of 13-3. Smithville won 3-0 in their recent non-league challenge against Raytown South (Raytown, MO)
The Bulldogs now own a 0-3 record. They put it on the line next when they host Excelsior Springs for a non-league test on Wednesday, September 24. Grandview will face a Tigers squad coming off a 3-0 non-league win over Winnetonka (Kansas City, MO). The Tigers record now stands at 4-11.
