Maine High School Volleyball - Noble bounced by Portland
September 23, 2025: North Berwick, ME 03906 Portland Bulldogs (Portland, ME) boosters left the game thrilled Tuesday as they saw their volleyball squad achieve victory over the host Noble Knights (North Berwick, ME), 3-0 in a league test.
With the win, Portland improves its record to 2-2 on the season. The Bulldogs host Wiscasset (Wiscasset, ME) to face the Wolverines in a non-league test on Thursday, September 25. The Wolverines go into the test with a record of 1-2. Wiscasset won 3-1 in their recent non-league test against North Yarmouth Academy (Yarmouth, ME)
The Knights now have a 1-4 record. They play next when they travel to Gorham for a Class A challenge on Thursday, September 25. Noble will meet a Rams team coming off a 3-0 league win over Falmouth (Falmouth, ME). The Rams record now stands at 5-2.
