Maine High School Volleyball - Westbrook can't get by South Portland
September 23, 2025: South Portland, ME 04106 South Portland Red Riots (South Portland, ME) followers left the game satisfied Tuesday as they saw their volleyball squad edge the visiting Westbrook Blue Blazes (Westbrook, ME), 3-2 in a non-league outing.
The Red Riots now have a 5-1 record. They play next when they host Edward Little for a non-league outing on Thursday, September 25. South Portland will play a Red Eddies team coming off a 3-1 non-league loss to Gardiner (Gardiner, ME). The Red Eddies record now stands at 6-1.
With the loss, Westbrook drops to 2-3 on the campaign. The Blue blazes travel to Windham (Windham, ME) to play the Eagles in a non-league outing on Friday, September 26. The Eagles come into the outing with a record of 1-5. Windham won 3-0 in their recent league outing against Sanford (Sanford, ME)
