Pennsylvania High School Football - Franklin Regional felled by Bethel Park

The Franklin Regional Panthers football team (Murrysville, PA), was knocked off 28-13 in Friday's non-league challenge with the visiting Bethel Park Black Hawks (Bethel Park, PA)

The Black Hawks (2-3) will now prepare for their challenge against West Allegheny (Imperial, PA). The Indians come into the WPIAL AAAAA Allegheny Six challenge with a 3-1 record. In their last challenge, West Allegheny was knocked off by Kiski Area (Vandergrift, PA), 7-0, in a non-league challenge.

The Panthers now sport a 1-4 record. They take the field next when they travel to Connellsville for a WPIAL AAAAA Big East challenge on Friday, October 1. Franklin Regional will meet a Falcons team coming off a 47-7 non-league loss to Peters Township (McMurray, PA). The Falcons record now stands at 0-5.
