Washington High School Football - Lynden gets by Burlington-Edison

September 24, 2021: Burlington, WA 98233

The Lynden Lions football squad scored 38 points and restricted the host Burlington-Edison Tigers to 35 in the Lions league victory on Friday.

The Lions now possess a 3-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Nooksack Valley for a 1A/2A/3A Northwest battle on Monday, September 27. Lynden will play a Pioneers squad coming off a 44-20 non-league loss to King's (Seattle, WA). The Pioneers record now stands at 2-2.

Coming up next, the Tigers play the Lakewood Cougars (Arlington, WA) in a 1A/2A/3A Northwest battle, on Friday, October 1. Burlington-Edison will attempt to advance on its 3-1 season record. The Cougars enter the battle with a 2-2 record after their 14-13 league win over Squalicum (Bellingham, WA).
