Virginia High School Football - Courtland held off by Spotsylvania
September 24, 2021: Spotsylvania, VA 22553 Spotsylvania Knights (Spotsylvania, VA) fans left the game content Friday as they saw their football team nip the visiting Courtland Cougars (Spotsylvania, VA), 23-20 in a league test.
With the triumph, Spotsylvania improves its record to 3-1 on the campaign. The Knights travel to Chancellor (Fredericksburg, VA) to battle the Chargers in a Battlefield test on Friday, October 1. The Chargers come into the test with a record of 1-2. Chancellor won 30-16 in their recent league test against Eastern View (Culpeper, VA)
With the loss, Courtland drops to 0-4 on the campaign. The Cougars host James Monroe (Fredericksburg, VA) to battle the Yellow Jackets in a Battlefield test on Friday, October 1. The Yellow Jackets come into the test with a record of 1-3. James Monroe lost 41-7 in their recent league test against King George (King George, VA)
