The Upson-Lee Knights football team (Thomaston, GA), was beaten 30-8 in Friday's league challenge with the host Crisp County Cougars (Cordele, GA)

The Cougars (2-3) will now prepare for their challenge against Mary Persons (Forsyth, GA). The Bulldogs come into the AAA Region 2 challenge with a 3-2 record. In their last challenge, Mary Persons achieved victory over Central (Macon, GA), 47-16, in a league challenge.

The Knights now sport a 2-3 record. They take the field next when they host Americus-Sumter for a AAA Region 2 challenge on Friday, October 1. Upson-Lee will meet a Panthers team coming off a 59-0 league loss to Peach County (Fort Valley, GA). The Panthers record now stands at 0-3.
