September 24, 2021: Carlisle, KY 40311 The Frankfort Panthers football squad scored 49 points and restricted the host Nicholas County Bluejackets to 20 in the Panthers non-league victory on Friday.
The Panthers now possess a 4-1 record. They put it on the line next when they host Eminence for a 1A District 3 battle on Friday, October 8. Frankfort will play a Warriors squad coming off a 59-14 non-league win over Switzerland County (Vevay, IN). The Warriors record now stands at 6-1.
Coming up next, the Bluejackets play the Bishop Brossart Mustangs (Alexandria, KY) in a 1A District 5 battle, on Friday, October 1. Nicholas County will attempt to advance on its 2-2 season record. The Mustangs enter the battle with a 6-0 record after their 41-7 non-league win over Ludlow (Ludlow, KY).
