September 24, 2021: Henderson, KY 42420 The crowd at Friday's non-league contest between the Henderson County Colonels (Henderson, KY) and the visiting Paducah Tilghman Blue Tornado (Paducah, KY), observed Henderson County's football squad thwart Paducah Tilghman by a count of 20-0.
The Colonels now own a 4-1 record. They play next when they travel to Marshall County for a 6A District 1 contest on Friday, October 1. Henderson County will play a Marshals squad coming off a 71-7 league loss to Daviess County (Owensboro, KY). The Marshals record now stands at 2-4.
Coming up next, the Blue Tornado play the Trigg County Wildcats (Cadiz, KY) in a 3A District 1 contest, on Friday, October 1. Paducah Tilghman will attempt to upgrade on its 1-3 season record. The Wildcats go into the contest with a 2-2 record after their 48-16 non-league win over Fort Campbell (Fort Campbell, KY).
