The Hernando Leopards (Brooksville, FL) football nudged the visiting Nature Coast Tech Sharks (Brooksville, FL), 27-21 in Friday's league bout.

In their next game, the Leopards face the The Villages Charter Buffalo (The Villages, FL) in a 4A Region 2 bout, on Friday, October 1. Hernando will attempt to move on its 3-1 season record. The Buffalo enter the bout with a 4-0 record after their 35-6 non-league win over Leesburg (Leesburg, FL).
