The Panthers now possess a 2-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to New Caney for a 5A-1 Region II District 8 battle on Friday, October 1. Lufkin will face a Eagles squad coming off a 35-6 league loss to College Station (College Station, TX). The Eagles record now stands at 3-1.
