Poca The Dots (Poca, WV) fans left the game content Friday as they saw their football team gain a win over the host Mingo Central Miners (Matewan, WV), 22-13 in a non-league test.

With the triumph, Poca moves its record to 3-0 on the year. The The Dots host Sissonville (Charleston, WV) to face the Indians in a Cardinal bout on Friday, October 1. The Indians enter the bout with a record of 1-4. Sissonville lost 70-0 in their recent league bout against Hoover (Clendenin, WV)

The Miners (1-3) will now prepare for their bout against Greenbrier East (Lewisburg, WV). The Spartans enter the non-league bout with a 3-1 record. In their last bout, Greenbrier East defeated Buckhannon-Upshur (Buckhannon, WV), 56-14, in a non-league bout.
