The crowd at Friday's league contest between the South Western Mustangs (Hanover, PA) and the visiting Red Lion Lions (Red Lion, PA), observed South Western's football squad edge Red Lion by a count of 42-35.

The Mustangs now own a 4-1 record. They play next when they travel to Central York for a York-Adams 1 contest on Friday, October 1. South Western will encounter a Panthers squad coming off a 68-21 league win over Dover (Dover, PA). The Panthers record now stands at 5-0.
