The Rowlett Eagles football team (Rowlett, TX), was ripped 65-28 in Friday's league challenge with the visiting Sachse Mustangs (Sachse, TX)

The Mustangs (3-2) will now prepare for their challenge against North Garland (Garland, TX). The Raiders come into the 6A Region II District 9 challenge with a 4-1 record. In their last challenge, North Garland trounced Lakeview Centennial (Garland, TX), 2-0, in a league challenge.

The Eagles now sport a 1-4 record. They take the field next when they host Wylie for a 6A Region II District 9 challenge on Thursday, September 30. Rowlett will meet a Pirates team coming off a 63-0 league win over South Garland (Garland, TX). The Pirates record now stands at 1-4.
