The crowd at Saturday's league contest between the Edna Karr Cougars (New Orleans, LA) and the visiting St. Augustine Purple Knights (New Orleans, LA), observed Edna Karr's football squad bounce St. Augustine by a count of 49-7.

The Cougars now own a 4-0 record. They play next when they host Brother Martin for a 5A District 9 contest on Friday, September 30. Edna Karr will play a Crusaders squad coming off a 38-20 non-league win over Ouachita Parish (Monroe, LA). The Crusaders record now stands at 3-1.
